  New! Distance Learning Live Chat

  Distance Learning has joined the Counseling Center at Waubonsee Community College in offering student support via live chat!

  If you have questions about your online course, or need technical assistance with Blackboard, then our live chat is for you!

  When the college is open, Distance Learning staff will be available over 60 hours a week to answer your questions. Live chat hours are:

  • Mondays: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays - Fridays: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

  New! Online Academic Advising

  For your convenience, the Counseling Center at Waubonsee Community College is now offering online academic advising! 

  David Barreto, WCC counselor, welcomes your questions. By instant chat, David can answer your questions regarding  choosing a major, understanding the transfer process or selecting your next semester of courses.  

  Beginning Thursday, January 5, David will be available every  week, when the college is open, to chat with you during the following hours:

  • Tuesdays:  5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays:   9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.    

  

• Internet maintenance from 10:00 p.m. Friday, May 18 through 8:00 a.m. Saturday. May 19. (Monday, May 14, 2012)
  
  Waubonsee will be performing scheduled internet maintenance from 10:00 p.m. Friday, May 18 through 8:00 a.m. Saturday. May 19.

   

  During this time all internet connected devices will be unreachable from off campus.

   

  Unavailable services include:

  • Public Web Site
  • MyWCC
  • E-mail
  • Webmail
  • Blackboard
  • Banner

  During this time, no registration tasks will be able to be performed and students will not be able to access any payment services.
